For those moving to the Savannah area with children, the quality of the local schools is typically a major factor in choosing a place to live. Although there are many schools in Savannah and its surrounding suburbs, here at Bocook Realty, we are proud of our local Richmond Hill Schools, Bryan County Schools.
According to GreatSchools.org, all schools within the district are rated well above average. Richmond Hill Middle School was recently honored with the title of Breakout School, and students at Richmond Hill High School go on to attend top colleges and universities.
Although Bryan County Schools are generally considered to be the best in the area, it’s more than just their ratings that make them special; “it’s the people you meet and the opportunities that the district creates for our children,” says Shannon Bocook.
“Our son Darien, a 3rd grader at McAllister Elementary, participates in Tech Ninjas Club and loves learning how to create 3D video games and animation. Our daughter Bryce, a 2nd grader at McAllister currently spends time outside of school practicing for Richmond Hill Community Theater’s latest production and loves being a part of the cast,” says Bocook. Mason Hook, son of agent Tara Hook, participates in swim team at Richmond Hill High School and he loves the sport and making new friends. No matter the child’s age or interest, Bryan County School District has created a lively community with a variety of sports, clubs, and academic groups to nurture your children’s love of learning.
